A camera only records light
For each place, LCT keeps where it is, when it's worth shooting and how to get there. If a place isn't in the library, it says so.
Once the platform opens you'll see the weather and air quality in the same spot. When the community opens too, work from one location sits together, so you can tell where people stood and at what hour.

Each of these works on its own. None of them waits for LCT.

Questions
Opening dates, accounts, location data, and where your photos go.
What is LCT?
It's the shared platform behind Lenscript's photo apps. It handles shooting locations, weather and air quality, the photography community and an AI assistant. Accounts aren't shared: an LCT account is for LCT only, and Mark, Zlens and MuseFrame each have their own.
Do I need an account to use the products?
No. Mark works on your photos inside the browser, no sign-in needed. You'd only need an LCT account to save places or post in the community. You sign in with an email and a password, and the server never stores the password in plain text.
When does the photography community open?
There's no date yet. The backend is running in production, but places and posts are only starting to build up, and we'd rather not open an empty room. If you'd like a note when it opens, email donaldkuke@gmail.com with "LCT" in the subject and we'll write back once.
How are shooting locations verified?
Location data ships in whole packs. Each pack is signed by its publisher, the server checks the signature against a trust directory, and a bad release can be pulled as a unit. A place that isn't in the library comes back as unknown. Nothing gets made up by a model.
Are my photos used to train AI?
No. Mark never uploads your photos. Anything posted in the community is used only to show and moderate it, never to train models. If that ever changes, we'll ask for your consent first and update the privacy policy. The AI assistant calls an outside model and sends only the text you type, under hourly and daily quotas.
Which products use LCT?
Mark already uses LCT's content and location endpoints, and Zlens and MuseFrame are built on the same layer. They share location, weather and content data. Accounts stay separate.
Running, not open yet
The backend is live and already serves content and location data to Mark. Places and community posts are only just starting, and there's no opening date.
Android beta
Comes with 37,000 shooting locations in China, and you sign up with an email. Builds go out through our Chinese-speaking QQ group (824558022). They're test-signed for trying things out and sending feedback, so please don't pass them around as a release.
Partnerships and API questions: donaldkuke@gmail.com. Chinese-speaking readers can scan the QQ code on the Chinese page. This page describes what LCT has deployed today. It isn't a promise of an opening date, a feature list or a service level, and interfaces may change before launch. Sunrise and sunset times use the NOAA solar-position formulas. Last updated .
